SPECIAL BREW
AT JUST 26 YEARS OLD, JESSE “BAM” RODRIGUEZ IS ALREADY A LOCK FOR THE HALL OF FAME, AND THE POUND-FOR-POUND STAR’S GREATEST NIGHTS ARE POTENTIALLY STILL AHEAD OF HIM. By Corey Erdman
If you were to show a picture of Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez to someone on the street and ask them to guess which sport he was a professional in, it’s far more likely that they would say skateboarding than boxing. It’s hard for the layperson to fathom the reality that a 115-pound man is one of the most dangerous people on the planet, and Rodriguez does very little in how he carries himself outside of the ring to disavow anyone of that notion. Standing 5-foot-4, the heavily tattooed and bespectacled Rodriguez is typically
sipping a coffee, seemingly always sporting a friendly grin along with an outfit fresh out of the latest streetwear catalogue.
In November, Bam annihilated previously unbeaten titleholder Fernando Martinez.
