Brick, NJ rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility transformed Marquis Health Services completes $2.8M renovation at Willow Springs

RICK, NJ — Marquis Health Services , the healthcare affiliate of private equity investment group Tryko Partners, LLC , has completed the $2.8 mil- lion repositioning of Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Brick. The locally based company, which purchased the prop- erty formerly known as Burnt Tavern Nursing Center in late 2014, has orchestrated its complete transformation over the last nine months. Located at 1049 Burnt Tav- ern Rd., Willow Springs in- cludes 148 skilled nursing B

beds. Marquis Health Services has expanded the property’s sub-acute rehabilitation wing, adding 13 contemporary pri- vate suites. Other features include an approximately 3,000 s/f expansion to Wil- low Springs’ state-of-the-art rehabilitation therapy gym, along with long-term care and secured geriatric neighbor- hoods. A smart car has been incorporated to help patients simulate actual daily living skills during the rehabilitation process. Marquis Health Services has also updated common areas and patient rooms, and

green and gourmet coffee lounge top off the enhanced amenities available to Willow Springs clients. Additionally, new programs have been intro- duced, including cardiac care rehabilitation operating seven days per week. Brick Mayor John Ducey recently toured the property to see the results of the remodel. “I enjoyed visiting the Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and meet- ing their exceptional staff,” he said. “It is comforting to know that the residents who require the specialized services Willow Springs can provide can re- ceive them in our community.” Marquis Health Services CEO Norman Rokeach also shared his excitement about the project. “Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare is located right in our own back yard, which makes it special for Marquis,” he said. “We go beyond what most healthcare operators do today by invest- ing in both sub-acute rehabili- tation and long-term care. We recognize that needs change as people age, and we strive to provide a continuum of care within all of our facilities. For these reasons we are taking particularly great pleasure in introducing the ‘new’ Willow Springs to the greater Brick community. We look forward to satisfying our neighbors’ care needs and expectations well into the future.” Rokeach added that the company’s existing relation- ships within the regional healthcare community have been instrumental in the expansion and new develop- ment of programs at Willow Springs. “At all of our nursing home properties, we tap into relationships with local hospi- tals and healthcare providers, and work to develop programs that enhance care options for the community.” n
