421,000 s/f in retail transactions and a 110,000 s/f industrial lease Levin Management inks transactions totaling 531,000 s/f in nine months

past nine months the company completed 531,000 s/f in leas- ing activity, closing nearly 421,000 s/f of retail transac- tions and spearheading a 110,000 s/f industrial lease. “The retail real estate in- dustry is again in expansion mode, with strengthened ten- ant leasing activity boosting occupancies at well-located properties,” said Matthew Harding , LMC president. “While traditional retail seg- ments – such as grocery and discount stores – continue as active shopping center main- stays, fitness chains, health-

care tenants and fast-casual restaurants are emerging as significant players in our market area as well.” Highlights of LMC’s most recent New Jersey retail lease transactions include a 41,300 s/f commitment by national furniture chain Raymour & Flanigan at Paramus Place in Paramus and a 15,650 s/f lease by West Marine at St. Georges Crossing in Wood- bridge. Top Pennsylvania transactions included a 6,723 s/f lease with Fred’s Furniture at Liberty Center in Erie and a 4,050 s/f lease with Oran- getheory Fitness at Bradford Plaza in West Chester. InNewYork, LMCarranged leases with New Wonders Learning Center (10,000 s/f) and Dolson Avenue Medical (6,000 s/f) at Middletown Commons in Middletown. Other noteworthy transac- tions include a 9,975 s/f com- mitment by Golden Buffet at Crossroads Place in Falls Church, VA. In addition to delivering third-party real estate ser- vices to retail property own- ers, Levin also excels at man- aging diverse commercial property types, including industrial and office assets. The firm’s recent leasing ac- tivity includes a 110,000 s/f commitment by apparel and fashion company Armouth In- ternational Inc. at 170 Circle Dr. North in Piscataway. The property is part of Rutgers In- dustrial Center, a five-build- ing LMC-managed industrial/ warehouse complex. As man- aging agent for the property LMC retained and worked closely with Cushman & Wakefield in negotiating the long-term transaction, which brought the complex to 100% occupancy. LMC also continues to grow its leasing and management portfolio. The firmwas award- ed several new assignments in recent months, including shopping centers in Paramus, West Orange and Delran, NJ, and was retained to continue its role following an owner- ship change at a property in Flemington, NJ. To support the firm’s growth and expan- sion, LMC has added key per- sonal and promoted several employees within in its leas- ing, property management, marketing, and accounting and lease administration de- partments. n
