Somebody… Anybody… get this thing to the flush facility! NIO Split Rock D1 first arrived to Niobrara Red Angus after the monumental dispersal of Wildcat Creek Ranch. She was the pregnancy inside of Van Wye Split Rock 35X, who made her way to NIO that day with two other genetic giants… 2085Z & 107X. Honestly, I knew this cow was good. But after I assembled her progeny photos, I didn’t realize how good! Some of my own personal favorite bulls in past bull sales have been raised by this cow. Sired by Power Eye, you can see the power and muscle shape she transmits into her offspring. With top notch foot quality and still a very attractive udder, cows like this, that stand the test of time, should be replicated in volume when building a cowherd, regardless of your production goals. Carrying a calf by Ranch Hand, I’d be willing to put money on a complete ROI in year one. Due April 10th, 2026 to STRA Ranch Hand 2010.
