STEPHEN MINISTRY “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” -Galatians 6:2 Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high- quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties. Time Commitment: Training is 1.5 hours per week for twenty weeks. Once trained, the commitment is one hour per week with the care receiver and 1.5 hours per month for Supervision.
SPIRITUAL ACCOMPANIMENT “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” -Matthew 18:20 Because we are made for community, Christian living often requires close accompaniment. We are happy to offer the support of spiritual directors and mentors to help you grow into the life God wants for you. Our spiritual mentors are trained to serve as guides and companions to parishioners on their path to wholeness and holiness. We’ll help you put the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to work in your daily lives and reap the full harvest of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. One-on-one Spiritual Mentoring is for Catholics who desire a deeper prayer and sacramental life, greater knowledge of the Catholic faith, and growth in virtue.
