At SuperCorrExpo, Signode will host live demonstra- tions of an integrated corrugated packaging system fea- turing the new GCU-3 strapping corrugated unitizer and the fully automatic Octopus S Series stretch wrapping ma- chine — a combination that streamlines end-of-line oper- ations while improving load integrity throughout the distri- bution cycle. The latest model of the GCU-3 is equipped with up to six modular heads for enhanced flexibility and maximum throughput. The Octopus S Series uses an “S” wrap pattern to maximize load containment and minimize film usage, enabling it to wrap up over 100 loads per hour. Additional automation solutions and integrated sys- tems from Signode include Simplimatic Robotic Palletizers and Depalletizers, Simplimatic Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), and the StorFast Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). Engineered for optimal speed, service life, and flexibility, these solutions integrate effortlessly with most material handling lines.
