Let’s Talk As we kick off a new school year and community programs, navigating our congested roads becomes a top priority in our growing city of 425,000. Planning for safe and efficient mobility options is crucial, especially as Ward 9 sees significant growth in the next decade.
Residents have expressed con - cerns about road safety, particu - larly around schools, but a recent recommendation to reduce speed limits was not supported by Coun- cil, much to my disappointment. We must explore all tools for safer roads. Byron Cares Food Bank The Byron Cares Food Bank is a local outreach ministry organized and supported by the five local churches. Together, we can address hunger and social isolation in our community by continuing to meet the ever-growing demand for affordable, nutritious and accessible meals.
