How Do You Share Your Love of Precious Moments? Show Us Your Precious Moments!
At Precious Moments, we encourage one and all to Share the Gift of Love. We also really love to hear how you personally share the love of Precious Moments. Club Member Kathie Vonhof shared her story, and it was randomly selected as the winning entry in our 2019 Share The Gift Of Love Giveaway. She received the Limited Edition figurine Caught In The Current Of Love – a $159.99 value!
Kathie shared: “I have been a member of the Precious Moments Collectors’ Club since 1983. Over the years I have purchased or received approximately 300 figurines plus some dolls and other decorative items. They are on shelves, in special cabinets, and on counters in every room of our house. The walls of our home are decorated with 75 framed, counted cross-stitch Precious Moments designs. When guests come into our home, we always receive comments about the collection and are able to share something about it. My husband, John, and I have been to the Precious Moments Chapel three times and loved every visit. Every time is like the first exciting time seeing the paintings and figurines. Walking through the Gift Shoppe is fun as we decide which ones to take home.

In 2002, I began making wooden hand-painted outdoor Christmas decorations for our own personal enjoyment, starting with Mary holding Baby Jesus, Joseph, a dog dressed as a sheep, and an angel standing on a stool. The following years I added more figures and we now have over 57 cutouts that extend onto our roof, chimney, and our neighbor’s yard. It’s fun figuring out where to place the cutouts so they can all be seen. It takes two days to place them and add all the lights. We enjoy seeing the cars drive by at night and the people looking at our display and taking photos. The CaliforniaChristmasLights.com website lists our display with several photos. We don’t have any moving parts or flashing lights because we want it to be a passive display with a calming mood for the celebration of our Lord’s birth. As a Precious Moments collector and lover, this is a way to spread God’s Word to our neighborhood and community, and to wish all a very Merry Christmas.”
