DeJong Ranch - Annual Production Sale [3/5/26]

Greetings Family and Friends- As our 58th annual bull sale comes around, it gives us time to pause and reflect. 2026 marks another year of progress toward our goal of producing and marketing quality livestock that have been developed through multi-trait selection. 2025 was full of family with Tina home on furlough for eight months, although it went by super fast! Miles and Kim enjoy filling their time taking in all of the grandkid activities from music performances to the gym, they are each of their grandkids number one fan! Miles is enjoying the opportunity to breed a few more horses each year and there doesn’t happen to be a shortage of indivduals that are willing to scratch and love on colts. Kevin and Katrin continue their busy schedule with Kylee, Kelli, and Cooper. Kevin ac- tively helps with the local Farm Bureau organization and coaching youth wrestling. Katrin is heavily involved in South Dakota Cattlewomen’s Organization and homeschooling Kelli and Cooper. All three kids are involved in 4-H and youth sports as well as helping out on the ranch alongside their parents. They got a much deserved vacation to Turks and Caicos this fall. Wyatt and Zana added some more excitement this year with the adoption of Zeke Louis! Wyatt stays busy working for South Dakota FFA and Zana is learning about being a boy mom! Tina continues her work in Uganda teaching missionary children, learning the language and working with many on the mission field. Adam and Tara reside near Sioux Falls and are enjoying watching their children enter into grown up life! Their oldest, Lydia, got engaged on Christmas! Geneva, Levi, Anna, and Caleb are all thrilled and keep mom and dad busy with soccer, music and home school! 2026 is shaping up to be another eventful year full of God’s blessings. DeJong Ranch has been a family operation from its inception and continues to mold our values of faith and family into our cattle business. Our bulls are designed to be ready to work in almost any condition as they have continually performed in the challenging terrain of south-central South Dakota. Hardiness and endurance have allowed us to produce bulls that are designed to work for many years.
