Delivery: Free delivery within 500 miles of Stevensville, MT on all bulls sold. Free delivery in the contiguous 48 states on any bulls selling for at least $4000.00. Sutherlin Farms will help arrange trucking for cattle sold outside this area. Cattle will be delivered in March and early April unless other arrangements are made. We will give a $100 deduction for all bulls taken home sale day. Please Note: if you are out of state, Health Certificates will not be available sale day. Delivery of commercial females is the responsibility of the buyer. A feed charge of $2.50/day will be charged for commercial heifers left over ten days. We would be glad to help assist you in making travel arrangements. Transportation: Commercial air service is available for Missoula via Delta, United, American Airline, Alaska, and Allegiant. First Breeding Season Guarantee: All bulls selling for $4000 or more, will be covered by Sutherlin Farms if they are injured their first breeding season. This guarantee does not include death as that can be insured for. Breeding season is defined as a 90 day period following the first turnout of bulls. Sutherlin Farms will work with the buyer and either (1) replace the bull with a comparable animal if one is available, or (2) credit the buyer with the purchase price, less salvage, at the next sale. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. We also reserve the right to a second opinion by a veterinarian of our choice. All claims must be made in the same year the bull was originally purchased. Insurance: Mortality Insurance is available, contact John Goggins for more information, (406) 698-4159, American Live Stock Insurance - Markel. Herd Health: All cattle will sell with proper health papers for interstate shipment. A complete breeding soundness exam has been performed. All bulls have been tested negative to BVD. We will offer a volume discount on bull purchases. If you purchase 5 bulls, you will receive a 5% discount on your total bull purchase. If you purchase 6 or more bulls, receive a 6% discount on your total bull purchase. As always, we offer free delivery for all bull purchases within 500 miles of the ranch.
