Our family warmly welcomes you to the Keller Broken Heart Ranch Annual Production sale on March 5, 2026 at the ranch. We in the cattle business are all very happy with the current cattle market prices. The future looks bright and we are blessed to be in the cattle business. We recently went from never ending days of cold and wind….to a sudden warm up and quick melting of all the snow and temps in early February that are approaching 60 above! We can almost sense that green grass and Spring are just around the corner. Like many of you, we are all looking forward to the warm weather and a calving season that brings joy in watching those new calves bouncing alongside their mommas. This year’s calving season will be a unique one for us. In December 2025 we sold all of our bred heifers and many elite donor cows out from the heart of our herd. We are so grateful for our longtime customers who support us and also for those producers who are giving KBHR genetics a try in their herds for the first time. Our goal remains the same: is that you and your families continue to prosper through use of genetics from the KBHR breeding program. As most long-standing farm and ranch families understand, it takes decades of hard work and sweat equity to lay and maintain the foundations of any operation. The future generations play a crucial role in expanding and improving the operation as needed. Luke (Katy, Iva and Rhett) and Jake (Mackenzie) are working together to improve the herd and the ranch operations. The best time to view and talk about a specific type of bull or sire group of bulls you are looking for, would be before sale day. The advantage of stopping by ahead of time, is that cattle are close by in their winter feeding lots and you can take a ride around with one of us if you want to look over the bulls and have questions answered. We always have coffee on. On sale day we will offer breakfast sweets and a lunch for those attending. We are deeply grateful for our family, friends and customers. We wish you all a wonderful calving season and prosperous year, in all the ways that truly matter.
