Our inter est centers around the important things of the Holy Land; and the Bible itself serves as our best guide book. An examination of the actual scenes of dozens of Biblical events, a study of archaeological discoveries which illuminate the Bible, and a view of Holy Land customs and geography makes it an experience which you will value the rest of your life. Experienced Leadership — You will be traveling with leaders who know the Bible lands through years of first-hand experience. Besides being Professor of Archaeology at Wheaton College, Dr. Joseph Free is on the staff of the American School of Oriental Research. Those who choose to return via Africa will be conducted by Dr. Oran H. Smith, director of the Missionary Department at Biola who has previously traveled throughout the "Dark Continent." The Planned Routing of the Africa portion of the tour is almost identical with a former trip taken by Dr. Louis T. Talbot and Dr. Smith at which time several of Dr. Talbot's films were made. From major African cities there will be opportunity for small groups to visit various mission stations, some of which will be amongst primitive people.
