This is our Th ird Annual Issue setting forth the claims o f the Christian faith. W e have found that many o f our readers and their friends have a genuine desire for such a special issue o f the maga­ zine. W e believe that we dare not take the Christian faith for granted whether we have embraced it or not. W e owe it to ourselves to examine the record firsthand. W e believe this special issue will give each o f you just such a chance. The publisher. The K ing ’ s Business magazine has been published by the Bible Institute o f Los Angeles since 1910. The Institute (made up o f four separate schools including a liberal arts college) was founded in 1908 by T . C. H orton and Lyman Stewart. Stewart was also founder and president o f the Union Oil Company. The school is non-denominational serving all the great Protestant de­ nominations plus independent churches. The editors. The editors and writers for this issue represent a wide cross section o f church backgrounds: Independent, Baptist, Con­ gregational, Methodist, Church o f England, Pentecostal, Presby­ terian. A ll the editors and assistants are college trained (L o s Angeles S ta te ; Univ. o f Calif., Berkeley ; U C L A ; Univ. o f H ou s ton ; New Y ork Un iv .; Northwestern Un iv .) and strive to present ob ­ jective fact as free from personal bias as possible.
