I have a shellfish obsession. So we spent a delicious and exhilarating weekend on cape cod, exploring shellfish in its many glorious forms, including a visit to my favorite oyster farm, moon shoal.   We soaked up the last golden sunshine of summer digging a clambake, slathering crusty bread with good butter for a champagne brunch, and drinking spritzers with our tinned fish picnic.                                                                                                    Jamie

SHELLFISH WITH BREAD, BUTTER AND CHAMPAGNE On eating the ocean for beakfast: That tiny sip you get before you slurp the nugget of meat from the shell is merroir incarnate.

JON MARTIN + MOON SHOAL FARM We load into the skiff for a day on Jon Martin’s 2 acres of (sometimes) underwater oyster farm, Moon Shoal, embarking on a day of learning precisely all the reasons his oysters are so special.
