PNG Air NEWS PNG Air upgrades to SkyNet Aviation software through management, operations, contract clients, pilots, cabin

aircraft avionics and ground infrastructure. ADS-B stands for Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast. Satellite transponders within each aircraft will provide real-time tracking across parts of the network not covered by the ground- based ADS-B system. PNG Air staff from core departments in operations control, ground operations, crewing, IT and reservations control were trained in the new software during a four-day installation program delivered by Skynet Aviation at the airline’s Port Moresby headquarters from November 4-7. The technology enhances PNG Air safety systems to best in class.
