Changes to the ORPS Rules & Regulations relating to Tennis Court Reservations

Background: The Tennis Committee has submitted a recommendation for consideration by the Board of Directors to revise the Outdoor Resort Palm Springs (ORPS) Rules and Regulations relating to Tennis Court Bookings. At its meeting on March 6, 2021, the Tennis Committee voted to revise the ORPS Rules & Regulations to allow owners or renters to book more than one court per day as they believe this rule unnecessarily limits the use of the tennis courts. Additionally, they voted to allow players to have the ability to book a court a full seven (7) days in advance, rather than the existing rule that allows a six (6) day in advance reservation. These Committee approved changes require the following ORPS Rules & Regulations to be changed: A. REMOVE the following statement in the ORPS RULES & REGULATIONS: 6.G. COURT RESERVATIONS 3. Individual Owners/Renters may reserve one court per day for a maximum of two (2) hours for any one group (singles or doubles). B. REVISE the following statement in the ORPS RULES & REGULATIONS : 6.G. COURT RESERVATIONS. Owners/Renters must reserve courts on a first-come basis using the Hold My Court reservation website. Courts may be reserved six (6) seven (7) days in advance.
