3. A variance granted by the Board of Directors 4. A permit from Cathedral City, if required. 2. Pet enclosures are subject to the following conditions: 1. May not exceed three feet in height, must be set back a minimum of 15 feet from the street, and are restricted to the patio side of the lot; 2. Must be constructed of high-quality metal , in tones of black, brass, bronze or silver; 3. Must be temporary, removable and cannot restrict access to lot for maintenance purposes; 4. Must be removed if RV not occupied. 5. Must be aesthetically acceptable to the A&A Committee. 3. PRIVACY SCREENS 1. Privacy screens may only be installed in the front of the lot and must be set back a minimum of 15 feet from the road property line and a minimum of one foot from the patio side property line. Front (street) view may not exceed B' in length. 2. Screens must be commercially made. 3. Must be constructed of high-quality metal, in tones of black, brass, bronze, or silver. 4. Any inlaid material panels must be of a durable Sunbrella like quality in natural desert tones and must be removed and stored off season. 5. Must be movable and cannot restrict access to lot for maintenance and safety purposes. 6. Privacy screens may not exceed 72" in height. 7. Must be aesthetically acceptable to the A&A Committee. 8. All existing nonconforming screens must be replaced or removed and brought up to existing standards once the screens become unsightly and do not meet aesthetics. Approved unanimously by the A&A committee at the A&A meeting on February 24, 2021. Rule 3: *'"The A&A has seen more owners try to undermine the use of fencing, walls, hedges or landscaping as a means to provide privacy by using structures aesthetically not acceptable.
