Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) • Project delivery in terms of time, budget and project quality. • Percentage of days lost due to sickness absence to be no higher than 2%.
• Ensure sufficient flexible working practices to ac- commodate requirements from Business Unit Direc- tors and Senior Managers e.g. shelf replacements, new carpeting etc. • Assist in the development of the Store Planning strategy within the Store. • Complete any other tasks as requested by the Di- rector of Store Development • Provide outstanding leadership for the team, setting clear direction and providing regular feedback • Set your team members projects to manage as their own supported by your guidance • Ensure that only the highest calibre of people are re- cruited into the business so that all members of the team deliver the competencies required of the role • Ensure that the People Review process is followed by the Department Managers so that each team member has objectives, a development plan, and an annual performance review • Develop strong presence and leadership with the team by highlighting issues and giving guidance • Actively coach the team to manage their projects ef- fectively and efficiently • Create a positive work environment that results in turnover and sickness and absence reduction.

Senior Project Manager
works and ensure projects adhere to programme. • Establish capital warrant sums for project work based upon relevant documentation and submit to business for approval. • Take management responsibility for financial ex- penditure ranging from capital warrants, settlement of final accounts and processing invoices. • Manage projects by discussing brief, drawing up technical specifications, preparing tenders, direct- ing technical support teams, managing tenders and reviewing all through to completion. • Effectively facilitate relevant meetings, record pro- ceedings and communicate with tact and clarity to all parties. • Co-ordinate and manage concession construction teams to ensure programmes of works are complet- ed effectively and standards achieved. • Ensure all projects are carried out to the high stand- ards laid down by Harrods and are managed effec- tively within the agreed budgets. • Be fully aware and implement Health and Safety reg- ulations, Planning and Building Control regulations and all other statutory regulations including CDM. • Effectively liaise with all user groups within Harrods e.g. Store Operations, Security, Fire Safety Depart- ment, HIS, Engineers, etc.

Position Purpose To work closely with the Director of Store Development, Business Unit Directors, Senior Managers, Concessions, Design and Display teams within Harrods in implement- ing projects from design and planning through to imple- mentation and evaluation. Management responsibility of individual varied pro- jects from inception to completion up to £20 million. • Take briefs from Business Unit Directors and Senior Managers. • Assemble design teams and invite proposals for fi- nancial review • Review schemes with Business Unit Directors and Senior Managers. • Principal Accountabilities • Analyse and review schemes presented by design- ers and architects for Harrods capital funded pro- jects, supplier funded projects and combined fund- ed projects. • Prepare and draw up projected programme for
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality retail or blue chip environment. • Professionally qualified in a construction related de- gree, with a clear understanding of the principles of good design. • Practically experienced in store planning and pro- ject management from inception to completion. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills al- lied with tact and diplomacy. • Highly organised with strong analytical skills. • Enthusiastic and confident with the determination to get the job done at all costs. • A team player with a desire for excellence. • Able to work with, oversee and steer a design team responsible for project designs

Expected to work to business needs, this may in- clude early starts, late finishes and occasional at- tendance for short periods at weekends.
