On a more positive note, this is a good time to contact people you haven’t spoken to in a while. There is one thing you do need to be careful of during the time of this eclipse. The Venus/Mercury conjunc- tion forms a square to Neptune indicat- ing the number of scams is increasing. Be very cautious, especially if someone approaches you for money. You could get sucked into a situation where you get ripped off financially. As this quarter ends, Mercury in Gemini turns retrograde on May 29, 2021. It will remain retrograde until June 22 nd . One of the most difficult Mer- cury retrograde periods occurs when Mercury is in Gemini. This is because Mercury is in its ruling sign and unable to use the energy of that sign fully. As you know, when Mercury is retrograde, it’s more difficult to communicate clearly. It’s also easy to have problems, in this case with Gemini-ruled matters, education, communications, comput- ers, and even cars. Plus, this Mercury retrograde just formed a square to Nep- tune. And, in this retrograde chart, the Moon is forming a conjunction to Pluto, which indicates there could be political power struggles. On May 26 th , the first eclipse of the year occurs as well as the third super Moon of the year. This is a Total Lunar Eclipse (a Blood Moon). The reason this is called a Blood Moon is that at the time of the full eclipse, the Moon turns reddish-orange or to some, a blood color. While many individuals in other parts of the world will see this to- tal eclipse, here in the Washington met- ropolitan area you’ll only see a partial lunar eclipse between 4:47 am EDT and 5:50 am EDT. Even though you’ll only see a partial eclipse in our area, you’ll feel the im- pact. With the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius, this eclipse em- phasizes the importance of discussing your long-term goals with other people in your life. It also indicates you want to find ways to socialize with others. This Sun and Moon will also form a square to Jupiter creating a mutable T-square. When there is a lot of mu- table energy in a chart, changes occur whether you’re ready or not. That’s especially true at the time of a lunar eclipse, which tends to obscure mat- ters. What this means in this case is changes with rules and regulations will occur you weren’t expecting. You may even feel as if they’re interfering with
