Soon he moved into park crew and then summer hill coordinator, overseeing the summer ski operation. Over the years, Logan has seen a vast progression of terrain parks on Mt. Hood, and although he has spent some decent time in a cat, he now spends most his time managing several of Timberline’s mountain depart - ments and providing fashion advice for staff members at his weekly “En Vogue’n with Logan” meetings. He would later use what he learned in mountain operations to tap into marketing opportunities. His career, which started as a teen working at Snow Summit & Big Bear Mountain, Calif., and now includes building some of the larg - est courses in the world for events including the Burton U.S. Open, the X Games, and the Woodward Park City, Utah, facility, has been defined by his dedication to providing high quality work. Landon is also an experienced motocross, mountain bike, and rally car course builder. His expertise in the fields of dirt and snow has led to him being part of the year-round action sports event industry. Phillip Van Why | HKD Snowmakers Phillip Van Why is a master electrician, gearhead, and HKD Snowmakers’ technical guru in the West. Phil can make snow at Breckenridge and Copper Mountain simultaneously, while rewiring a fan gun and helping his oldest son with homework. She has served as senior editor of Snowboarder Magazine and editor-in-chief of Snowboard Magazine. Tyler Wike | Timberline Tyler started working at Timberline in 2010 as a terrain park atten - dant. Moving up the ladder, Tyler became the park supervisor, and then transferred over to the grooming department. After a few sea - sons grooming terrain parks, in 2014, Tyler took over as the terrain park manager, and most recently the freestyle operations manager overseeing all freestyle operations.
