The Police Village of Russell, in collaboration with Russell Township, put on their first tree lighting celebration at the Lions Park on Sunday December 4. Mayor Pierre Leroux was present for the event along with some 100 people. “As soon as they say Russell you know it’s going to be a great turnout. Hopefully it will continue for years to come.” Before lighting the 60 feet-tall Christmas tree, the crowdwas able to enjoy hot chocolate and a concert from the Russell Men Choir, under the direction of Kacper Waclawski, owner of the Russell Music Academy. —photo Vicky Charbonneau
Organisée par le ClubOptimiste région Limoges, c’est le samedi 3 décembre qu’avait lieu la 4 e édition du défilé des lumières. Des centaines de spectateurs se sont déplacés et ont pu se régaler les yeux tout en buvant un bon chocolat chaud.
