W hy should you consider the number of Healthcare Associated Infections. With no loss of effectiveness throughout its lifespan, even when scraped or damaged, it was Core Distribution’s antimicrobial trunking of choice. 1200m of Odyssey antimicrobial trunking plus accessories were supplied to a new temporary testing centre in Antrim, a facility set up by Randox Laboratories in response to Covid-19. The project was made possible thanks to a rapid-fire collaboration between Core Dublin and Core Belfast, who quickly fulfilled the order. Core RoI provided products to multiple healthcare projects, with essential HSE projects like Bray Primary Care Centre and Naas Primary Care Centre completed prior to lockdown. RoI Dublin also delivered vital work on two of the largest healthcare projects - the Citywest Hotel Conference Centre’s transformation into a 1100 bed Coronavirus Unit; and a 350 bed Covid-19 facility at the University of Limerick.

Innovation in Antimicrobial technology
On each occasion that the Marshall-Tufflex Bio range was utilised it proved itself to be a durable, non-leaching treatment that really works. Compliant with European Biocidal Products Directive (BPD), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered, and Tested to ISO 22196:2011, its effectiveness further promoting the argument for prevention being a large part of any cure.
