IADD Announces 2021 Online Annual Meeting Programming

The International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) will host its 49th Annual Meeting online. Program- ming will be presented live every Thursday beginning Oc- tober 28 through November 11. The IADD Annual Meeting is a one-stop shop for learning and gaining knowledge to advance member business. Registration for the event in- cludes access to three weeks of online programming and all session recordings. Those who register before October 7 will receive the early registration discount; IADD mem- bers at the rate of $79 USD per attendee and non-mem- bers at the rate of $129 USD per attendee. “We saw great success last year with our online pro- gramming, giving us the opportunity to provide technical and business information to more members and industry colleagues throughout the globe,” says Jenny Holliday, CEO of the IADD. “This year, we have an exciting line-up of guest speakers who will touch on some of the hottest top- ics our industry is facing right now: employee recruitment and retention, the latest trends in the corrugated market, how to make better decisions during a crisis and more.” Dr. Gleb Tsipursky, an internationally renowned thought leader in future-proofing and cognitive bias risk manage- ment, will present “Why Do Smart Leaders Ignore Serious Risks in a Post-COVID World (and What to Do About It)” during which he will teach attendees how to dramatical- ly improve their ability to recognize hidden risks in the post-pandemic world. This presentation will offer case studies, best practices and groundbreaking research to provide attendees with the most critical skills and take- aways they need to help recognize and avoid such risks. Dr. Tsipursky serves as the CEO of the boutique fu- ture-proofing consultancy Disaster Avoidance Experts, which specializes in helping forward-looking leaders avoid dangerous threats and missed opportunities.
