Lead a discussion or ask the participants involving questions about the role of the individual in improving human performance, and how this improvement can benefit safety when working in the wind industry, by considering factors like:

Attention and perception.

Group behavior and peer pressure.

Weather conditions.

Weather delays.

Noise levels.

Site layout and housekeeping.

Fitness and health.

Domestic and work-related stress.

Workload (both overload and underload).

Fatigue.

Time pressure and deadlines.

Alcohol, medication and substance abuse.

Labelling (similar identification of critical equipment).

Peer checks and independent verification.

Use of procedures (checklists).

Preplanning and staging of the workplace.

Ensure that learning objectives aiming at the ability domain are trained for in the practical exercises. Ensure that constructive feedback on th e participant’s performance involve human factor criteria when these are defined in the learning objective such as the ability to take responsibility or to act independently

The participants shall:

Engage in answering and share understandings about the human factor influence on accidents when working in the wind industry Engage in and reflect on received feedback and take responsibility on their own performance and development during the training
