The instructor shall:
Ensure that learning objectives aimed at the Ability domain are trained for in practical exercises.
Ensure that feedback on the participants ’ performance involves human factor criteria when defined in the learning objective such as the Abilities: to take responsibility and to act independently.
Participants shall:
Engage in and reflect on received feedback, and take responsibility for their own performance and development during the training.
REPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE OF A QUALIFIED ELECTRICAL PERSON
30-45 min.
The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to ensure the safety of other workers by being able to comply with and fulfil the requirements and role of a Qualified Electrical Person in the wind industry.
After having successfully completed this lesson, participants can:
Solve the challenge of how to fulfil the responsibilities of an electrical Qualified Person (Ability, basic level).
ELEMENT 2.1 - ROLE AND RESPOINIBILITIES OF AN QUALIFIED ELECTRICAL PERSON
Learning objectives:
The participants can discuss the role and responsibilities of a Qualified Electrical Person (boundaries & limitations) (Knowledge, intermediate level). The participants can recognise the education requirements for a Qualified Electrical Person (knowledge, basic level). The participants can recognise the requirements for working on high voltage systems which exceeds this module and the GWO CoHE standard (Knowledge, basic level). The participants can explain what a Qualified Electrical Person should do in a given situation to fulfil the requirements and role of a Qualified Electrical Person (Knowledge, intermediate level).
The instructor shall:
Present briefly the Qualified Electrical Person role and requirements in the wind industry to give an overview
Training requirements.
Experience requirements.
Responsibilities (Limitations to what they can and cannot do).
