AM B I T I O U S I N D E P E N D E N T C OMM I T T E D A D V E N T U R O U S We look for candidates on track for a 2:1 degree. Mitigating circumstances are always taken into consideration, with reasonable adjustments being made where possible. Along with the utilisation of Rare’s contextualised recruitment system, we also use blind CV screening. This allows a fair and objective assessment of your skills, experience and suitability for the role.

G D L Our non-law
T R A I N I N G C O N T R A C T Two year training contract consisting of 4 x 6 month seats. Candidates can apply to train in either London or Manchester.
QUAL I FICAT ION
B R I G H T F U T U R E S A nine month programme aimed at students from lower socioeconomic status groups. Candidates must meet at least one of the following: Be eligible for free school meals between the ages of 11-16, grew up in a household where no parent/guardian had attended university, have experience of another form of social disadvantage (e.g. in local authority care, refugee).

Successful candidates are invited to our assessment centres (which consist of a group exercise, written & discussion exercise, and an interview)
We are continuing to work through our approach to the SQE, ensuring that we continue to provide a high quality training programme to support our future talent and the firms broader diversity and inclusion agenda.
Our current proposal is to transition all of our prospective 2024 cohort to the SQE route, whether you are a law or non-law student. We are continuing to collaborate with the University of Law and are currently working through finalising our transition plans/SQE Model.
As it currently stands, anyone due to join us in 2022 or 2023 will follow the existing training contract model and LPC route. If you have any specific queries please contact the Early Careers team to discuss
