This innovative solution offers unparalleled versa- tility and efficiency, allowing businesses to produce cus- tomized boxes that meet their specific requirements. With its fully-automatic quick setup time, scrap removal, multi- out, and inline digital printing capabilities, the BX Motion is set to redefine short-run box manufacturing. “The first North American installation of the BX Motion was at a Canadian packaging company at the beginning of 2024. The European launch earlier in the year was met with great success, and Kolbus America has experienced similar enthusiasm in the North American market. To sup- port this demand, the North American sales team has partnered will colleagues in Germany to host a full week of monthly machine demonstrations on-site in Rahden, where the machine is manufactured. “We received great feedback from customers who at- tended the first week of BX Motion demonstrations. Our team has mastered the ability to host these virtual dem- os, showcasing the intricacies and full breadth of the BX Motion capabilities,” said Jeff Dietz, Kolbus America Pres- ident. “In May 2023, Kolbus America relocated its headquar- ters to Huntersville, North Carolina, from its previous lo- cation in Cleveland, Ohio. This strategic move aimed at positioning the company for continued growth, increased efficiency, and streamlined operations. The new facility offers a larger and more modern space to accommodate the growing workforce and ensure outstanding customer service. This relocation brought with it the hiring of key team members to bolster the company's financial, tech- nical, and customer service capabilities. A full finance team, experienced service technicians, an office manager, and additional customer service representatives have all joined Kolbus America to provide comprehensive support and excellence in customer service. “With a dedicated focus on growing the Parts and Ser- vice department, Kolbus has also hired additional Field Service Technicians to ensure fast response times. Kolbus has also created an array of machine training videos that can be used to train new employees and refresh or cross- train existing employees. “As we look ahead to 2024, Kolbus America is poised for an exciting year with additional machine installations of the RD 115S and the BX Motion.
