Love of the Game Auctions Fall, 2018 Catalog

597 1963 Exhibit Stat Back Near Set (63/64) - #4 on the PSA Registry! Clean, high-grade nearly-complete set, featuring wonderful photography, in many cases the strongest photography of all the postwar Exhibit sets. The reverse of each card contained full career statistics for the subject. This collection was assembled by an extremely advanced collector of Exhibits, and is nearly complete, missing only Vada Pinson for completion. 59 of the cards have been graded by PSA, with none graded lesser than EX 5. A breakdown of the collection is as follows: PSA NM 7 (6 cards): Burdette, Cunningham, Hoak, Jay, Koufax (HOF), Moon; PSA EX-MT+ 6.5 (4 cards): F arrell, Howard, Killebrew (HOF), O’Dell; PSA EX-MT 6 (37 cards): Aaron (HOF), Aspromonte, Banks (HOF), Barber, Battey, Berra (HOF), Boyer, Callison,

Cash, Chance, Cheney, Colavito, Coleman, Craig, Francona, Gentile, Gonzalez, Herbert, Hubbs, Kaline (HOF), Kuenn, Landis, Mahaffey, Malzone, Mantle (HOF), Maris, Mays (HOF), Mazeroski (HOF), McBride, Passcual, B. Robinson (HOF), F. The cards are attractive and strong enough that despite the five ungraded cards and the missing Pinson, the set ranks #4 on the PSA Set Registry, with a GPA of 5.95. An outstanding collection, a tougher set to complete, one of the highest-ranked sets on the PSA Registry. 63 cards total. MINIMUM BID: $500.00
