22 Attractive 1951 Bowman #253 Mickey Mantle (HOF RC) - PSA VG+ 3.5 One of the key cards to all the Bowman issues, the true rookie card of Mickey Mantle. The VG+ 3.5 grade assessed by PSA here seems conservative, likely driven by centering, as the card image clearly sits to the top right of the canvas. Still, the color and overall image quality is very strong, some minor corner wear and a wax stain on the reverse detracting very little from the card’s eye appeal.
