TAPPI To Launch Virtual Series: Printing Technology 101

TAPPI is launching Printing Technology 101, a virtual series that taps into the expertise of respected printing industry leaders to deliver a comprehensive overview of tradition- al offset and emerging digital technologies, equipment review, color perspective, troubleshooting and more. Corrugated professionals will be especially interested in the topics covering flexography and rotogravure. Registration is now open and attendees can register at TAPPI.org/PrintTech101 , with per-session and all-ses- sion passes available at member, non-member and plant rates. The series begins October 7 and ends on October 22. Sessions start at 2:00 p.m. (EST) on scheduled days and each session is 45 minutes of presentation, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. If you’re not able to attend the actual presentation, session recordings can be viewed afterward by registrants. Attendees will learn about commercial printing and equipment, traditional offset, flexography and rotogra- vure, electrophotography (dry and liquid toner), inkjet printing, paper grades and methods, print and press troubleshooting, predicting and testing print quality, and color perception and color gamut.
