Athletic Field Rentals The Naperville Park District maintains numerous athletic fields throughout the community. A permit is required to use athletic fields for games. Practice and drop-in play is allowed only on those fields that have not been set up and marked for games. Practice is not allowed on lined soccer or lacrosse fields. Please note that Park District programs, school district programs and permit holders have priority. Field users may be asked to relocate should their use conflict with a permitted or previously scheduled program. Additionally, permits are required to use the cricket pitches at Commissioners Park. Groups interested in applying for athletic field permits should reference the Naperville Park District Athletic Field/Facility Allocation and Usage Guide found at napervilleparks.org/athleticfieldrentals. For information on field closures/permit cancellations due to weather, please visit napervilleparks.org/cancellations.
