Little Veterinary School Camp - Dog • AGES 4-12 Do you have a budding young veterinarian in the house? Send them to Little Veterinarian School to learn all about dogs in this multi-day winter break camp! To begin their learning, each student is given a white coat and adopts a plush dog with a bandana along with a water bowl and tape measure, all of which are theirs to keep. Participants will examine a variety of topics including how to assess the health of a pet, animal nutrition, how to care for lacerations, preventing ticks and caring for tick bites, reading dog body language and more. Learning will be based in role-playing, interactive demonstrations and hands-on crafts. Little Doctor School • AGES 4-12 Do you have a budding young doctor in the house? Send them to Little Doctor School! To begin their learning, each student is given a white coat and real working stethoscope that’s theirs to keep. Participants will explore common tools that doctors use and examine a variety of topics including how air flows through the lungs, what happens to food when we eat, how the heart works, and what it’s like to be a surgeon. Each little doctor will even get to hear what their own heartbeat sounds like! This is a great opportunity for children to have fun role-playing while learning and growing their knowledge.
