Martial Arts: ISKC Karate Adult • AGES 15 AND UP Release tension and develop total body fitness through karate! In addition to teaching self-defense skills, karate develops flexibility, muscle tone and improves core strength. Continuing students need to purchase additional protective gear. Beginning students will not be permitted to register in the current session after the second class has met. Registration for continuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but full class fee will be required. Uniforms and belt testing are options available through the ISKC instructor for an additional fee. Pickleball Basic Skills and Drills • AGES 18 AND UP Pickleball is a fast-growing racket sport that is best described as a mix of badminton, tennis and ping-pong that can be played by nearly everyone. Program consists of instruction followed by actual game play. Players should wear athletic shoes and dress as for tennis. Equipment is provided, but bring your own Pickleball paddle if you have one. Individuals may add their names to an interest list by emailing batwell@napervilleparks.org. These names are provided to team captains who need additional players. Dates listed are tentative. Captains are contacted with schedules. All fees are per team plus $20 per nonresident player.
