BRIGGS & STRATTON BROUGHT PASSION FOR POWER TO BAUMA 2025 WITH VANGUARD ENGINE AND BATTERY INNOVATIONS

B riggs & Stratton made a powerful impact at bauma 2025, showcasing its cutting- edge Vanguard ® engine and battery solutions designed for even the most-demanding of construction applications. With a commitment to innovation, reliability, and efficiency, Vanguard continues to redefine performance in both combustion and electrification. Offering adaptable solutions that meet the industry’s evolving needs, Vanguard is also committed to delivering a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) thanks to smart, industry-leading technologies. Visitors to Stand 349, Hall A2 had the opportunity to explore a diverse range of Vanguard power solutions, including durable drop-fit single-cylinder engines, high performance BIG BLOCK™ petrol alternatives to diesel, and game-changing lithium-ion battery technology. Additionally, there will be a number of exciting applications designed for the construction industry that demonstrate the brand’s unique power-agnostic approach, empowering customers with the freedom to choose the right power source for their specific needs. Powering Performance: Single-Cylinder and BIG BLOCK Engines Engineered for exceptional power, reliability, and reduced maintenance, while able to withstand the toughest of job site conditions, the Vanguard single- cylinder, horizontal shaft commercial

engines were on display at the show. These engines, including the Vanguard 160, 200, 300, and 400 EFI/ETC models offer drop-fit solutions designed to meet the demands of challenging and demanding construction applications. Featuring industry-leading maintenance intervals (200-hour oil maintenance and 600-hour air cleaner maintenance) these engines ensure reduced downtime and significantly lower TCO. Technologies such as TransportGuard™ further enhance ROI by minimising unnecessary and costly oil changes, making Vanguard a smart investment for long-term efficiency. Also featured, the Vanguard’s BIG BLOCK™ EFI/ETC 29,9 kW/40HP 1 engine. As the industry continues to seek alternatives to diesel, Vanguard’s BIG BLOCK EFI/ETC engine range offers a compelling alternative for high-power applications. These engines deliver the robust performance needed on construction sites while simultaneously reducing fuel consumption and maintenance costs. Vanguard’s Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology optimises fuel efficiency, providing contractors with a cost effective and eco-conscious solution without compromising on power. Vanguard™ Battery Pack Range and BatterySystem Solution Visitors also explored Vanguard advanced lithium-ion battery solutions, designed for commercial applications with energy

capacities ranging from 1,5 kWh to 70 kWh. Built with a durable aluminum casing, high IP ratings, and an integrated Battery Management System (BMS), these batteries offer longevity, safety, and efficiency, even in the harshest environments. Vanguard showcased its Battery System Solution: Battery packs and chargers, along with soon-to-be- launched new motors, and motor controllers, all designed to simplify electrification for OEMs. This fully integrated system ensures all components work seamlessly together, accelerating the energy transition and streamlining electrification. Visitors were allowed to explore the stand to see innovations like the Vanguard 48V 1,5kWh* (Si1.5) 2 , a fully swappable battery that is interchangeable across brands and applications, and the 48V 5,0kWh 3 (Fi5.0), a fixed commercial battery pack that offers a total solution for OEMs and operators. Already successfully integrated into several real-world applications, such as the ARE demolition robot, EQLab Powerbank, B-Mac Trowel, and the Scorpick Pick & Carry crane applications on display at the show, businesses learned how these products can offer ultimate flexibility in powering their equipment across multiple contexts.
