CULINARY & BAKING BOOTCAMP New and seasoned budding chefs will step into the kitchen a watch the culinary toolbox grow each week. Each week, students will build confidence while practicing real kitchen skills in a fun, hands-on way. Kid Chefs will explore knife skills with kids safe knives, stocks and chef-made sauces, vegetables, and grain dishes such as orzo and quick pastas like gnocchi. They’ll also dive into baking by making quick breads like homemade English muffins and working with dough to create pizza from scratch. As they practice foundational cooking methods such as sautéing and poaching, students will learn how and why these techniques work. We’ll wrap up with our Junior Culinary /Baking Showcase a special treat prepared by the chefs to bring home and share with loved ones on the last day of each session.
