Shooting Stars is an advanced early childhood class. The goal is to move from Shooting Stars into Advanced or Pre-Team B if they have the appropriate skills. *Classes that are eligible to tryout in Summer for the competition team.
TUMBLE WITH YOUR TOT This guardian participation class will allow the guardian, coach, and child to work together to foster each unique developmental level of the child. Using obstacle courses, the Tumbl Trak, and a semi-structured class the child will build their strength, coordination, balance, and body awareness. The goal is to develop their independence, understanding of the basics and confidence in the gym in order to take on gymnastics safely and independently! Only registered participants are allowed in the gymnastics room plus a maximum of 2 guardians to actively participate. No recommendation required. This class will continue to grow your little gymnasts’ confidence and physical abilities in a more skill-oriented and structured class. The coach will emphasize following directions, individual movement, exploration, and gymnastics related play. Child MUST be potty trained and be able to independently follow directions. No recommendation required. MINI STARS This class will focus on fundamental gymnastics skills such as forward rolls, jumping, swinging, and balancing while maintaining a fun and playful class. The coach will encourage communication, following directions, and independently executing the skills. No recommendation required. There will be more focus placed in technique, form, and muscle control/awareness. Coaches will emphasize longer skill combinations, and continue to introduce new skills. Coach recommendation is required.
