HOUSES
Team building day saw the boys move around the College taking part in different activities in mixed ‘vertical’ groups which put buddies and new boys together as well as Year 4 and 5s. The boys demonstrated cooperation, initiative, humour, compromise, energy and empathy to get all the tasks done. These included building towers out of pringles tins, building a flag pole with string and pieces of cane, designing a House shield, juggling footballs and balloons as a team and building structures out of spaghetti and marshmallows (no guessing for which one the boys most enjoyed). It was wonderful to see the older boys supporting the younger members of their Houses and we were delighted that several senior boys could join the activities and offer advice and encouragement.
