of his strength, but he knows well that he is not any too strong. Physic ally, man is weak. He cannot endure much. Many tasks are undone simply because he has not the strength to finish them. He would do more if only he had the power. “And then, as the years go by, whatever little strength he possesses gradually diminishes until it is all gone and he ceases activity altogeth er. He soon becomes not only too frail for the ordinary tasks of life, but even to .take care of himself. That is one of the things which peo ple most dread about growing old. They say ‘we do not want to be a bother to anyone.’ They do not wish to be a care to anyone, even to their dearest ones. “But of the new body it never can be said there is not sufficient power, for it will be equal to all the require ments of the eternal life. It will nev er grow weary; never become ex hausted; never have to fail because of lack of strength. The power that wrought in the Lord’s body when He was raised from the dead is the pow er that is at work in the Christian’s life. That same power will work in the believ er’s body, not only to raise it from the dead, but to bring it into the likeness of His own glorious body, and to keep it in all its perfection throughout the ages of eternity. “There is one other contrast. This one is between the natural and the spiritual body. That means that the Spirit of God, who makes these bodies His temple while they are here
