BUDGET SUMMARY
The City Manager’s Office (CMO) is entrusted with the administrative, Orange County Great Park planning and development, economic
development, legal, legislative affairs, and public information functions of the organization. Positions of the Mayor, City Council and their aides are included in the CMO. The City Clerk’s function was previously included in the City Manager’s Office, but effective FY 2019-20, it is a stand-alone department. The CMO’s budget continues essential, mandated, and City Council-directed services, which includes General Fund expenditures of $5,597,252 for FY 2019-20, and expenditures of $5,652,531 for FY 2020-21. The budget includes funding for 22 full-time employees, 6.9 part-time employees (in FTEs), 5 non-hourly positions, and positions for the Mayor and City Council members.
The CMO’s organizational structure, the services it provides during the year, and the revenues and expenditures required to implement the services are detailed on the subsequent pages.

Strategic Goals & Objectives Provide administrative support to operating departments to ensure an attractive physical environment is maintained throughout the community. Conduct analysis of legislation that may impact City operations, particularly those pertaining to budget issues.
