SPECIAL FUNDS
Fund 010: INFRASTRUCTURE & REHABILITATION FUND This fund was created to provide for the accumulation and distribution of funds for City rehabilitation projects. The source of revenue for this fund is the interest earnings from the Asset Management Plan Fund (AMP) and an allocation from the General Fund. In FY 2019-20 and FY 2020-21, $0.5 million and $0.6 million respectively will be received from the AMP Fund. For FY 2019-20, $6.8 million is appropriated to various new and existing projects, some of the larger projects are: $2.8 million for the Truck Route Roadway Rehabilitation project; $1.0 million for the Emergency Generator Replacement; $1.2 million for the Irrigation Controller Rehabilitation project; $0.5 million for Woollett Aquatic Center Rehabilitation; and $0.4 million for the Northwood Aquatic Center Deck replacement project. In FY 2020-21, $1.1 million is appropriated to various new and existing projects, some of the larger projects are: $0.5 million for the Eucalyptus Tree Removal and Replacement project; and $0.3 million for Athletic Turf Replacement. In both fiscal years funding of approximately $1.0 million annually will be utilized for infrastructure related maintenance and repairs. In FY 2018-19, $6.3 million of Fund Balance Reserved for the Marine Way Project was transferred to the Assigned Fund Balance for future Infrastructure and Rehabilitation related efforts. In return, the Systems Development Fund (SDC) fund reserved an additional $6.3 million of its circulation fund balance for the Marine Way Project, maintaining the funding for the future Marine Way project.
