Fund 250: CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FUND – CIRCULATION This fund accounts for the construction and rehabilitation of the City's general circulation related infrastructure, including traffic signals, streets, medians, and bridges. The Capital Improvement Program budget provides specific project information regarding estimated revenue and appropriations impacting this fund. Total new allocations within the fund for FY 2019-20 and FY 2020-21 are approximately $20.2 million, $0.7 million from Infrastructure and Rehabilitation Fund, $9.0 million from the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA), $1.8 million from Gas Tax and $8.5 million from System Development Charge (SDC) Funds. The remaining balance of $150,000 are M2 Competitive Grants from Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). Some of the largest new appropriations over the next two years are: $22.5 million for the Marine Way/OCTA Bus Base Reconstruction; $3.6 million for the Barranca Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation; $3.4 million for the Campus Drive Widening (Ridgeline to I-405); $2.8 million for the Truck Route Roadway Rehabilitation; and $1.6 million for the Irvine Center Drive Pavement Rehabilitation (Pacifica to Lake Forest).
