NOTE: If you have not previously activated your login, please use the ‘password reset’ function to access your account. If you have any issues, please get in touch with us and we will help you register your account. Once you have logged into the portal, follow the below instructions to access the full suite of modules available: 1) In the Portal Dashboard, click on the menu option for BIFA eLearning, 2) Click on ‘Optional Learning’, 3) Click on ‘Browse Library’, 4) Once you have selected your course, click the ‘assign’ button, 5) Your chosen course will then move to the ‘My Content’ tab, 6) Click ‘view’ on the course you want to start, o Outward Processing o Inward Processing o Temporary Admission o Return Goods Relief 7) From here, you can start the course via the ‘launch’ button.

B IFA Bitesize is the suite of eLearning courses that launched in February 2025 and is a major bene fi t of your BIFA membership. Since then, over 2,300 BIFA Member employees have accessed the courses, with over 8,500 modules completed. Individuals can login to BIFA Bitesize via the Member Portal, giving them access to learning around-the-clock, enabling them to upskill themselves at a time and place that suits them. The five new modules are: • Sustainability – As environmental regulations tighten and customer expectations evolve, freight forwarders are moving toward greener logistics. This course provides logistics professionals with a practical foundation in sustainable logistics, covering freight emissions measurement, the commercial benefits of sustainability, and how to identify and implement realistic sustainability opportunities across their operations
worldwide today. • Rules of Origin – This course explains Rules of Origin and their role in calculating charges. It covers key pre-import checks, correct duty application, avoiding border delays, and also how origin is declared on customs entries that may affect payments to customs. • Representation – This course responsibilities and liabilities involved. You will learn how representation affects customs declarations, duty and VAT payments and the compliance obligations. • ATA Carnet – This course explains how ATA Carnets work, when they can be used, and trader responsibilities.
