InHealth Capital Project Manager

THE ROLE

• Acting as the subject matter expert for all building and equipment related queries, offering concise technical support and advice on construction, design and delivery at all times • Developing clear project plans for senior stakeholders and ensuring they are kept up to date throughout the delivery, communicating any risks, updates and analysis as required • Leading on the identification, purchase and delivery of any physical assets required for the project, for eg: diagnostic imaging equipment, mobile trailer units etc. • Growing long-lasting, meaningful and effective relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers to assist with the delivery of any current and future capital projects • Attending on-site meetings to ensure customers remain informed on the progress of the project and that contractors are adhering to any timescales as agreed • Regularly presenting feedback, updates and reports to the InHealth Senior Leadership team, engaging them on any progress, risks, issues or budgetary changes as required • Remaining up to date with all the latest construction, procurement and governance processes, and maintaining a strong technical knowledge of medical equipment We’re looking for someone who is: • An expert when it comes to medical equipment and has experience of leading the procurement, delivery and implementation of high-cost and complex assets • A passionate and committed leader that can motivate, encourage and communicate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure the first- class delivery of healthcare solutions • Technically minded and has a great understanding of healthcare service implementation • Educated and knowledgeable about CQC requirements, planning and building regulations, governance standards, environmental legislation, health & safety and infection control

What will you do? • Lead on a variety of exciting renovations, adaptations and new builds across the country to help us deliver on our vision of making healthcare better for patients • Oversee the day to day management of several different projects from initial budgeting, through to design, equipment delivery and handover to the operational teams • Manage external contractors and suppliers directly to ensure they deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions within expected and agreed timescales What will you be responsible for? • Monitoring and controlling all aspects of any assigned projects to ensure that cost effective, timely and appropriate solutions are developed to fulfil our customers’ requirements • Providing support and guidance throughout the tendering process, offering technical expertise on costs, logistics and timescales so that we remain competitive • Managing the customer briefing process, ensuring relevant information is requested and recorded, allowing for a detailed design to be delivered within statutory requirements
