LITTLE HELPERS Santa’

Charlie the chick, Peggy the piglet, Larry the lamb, and Clara the calf were so excited!

As they walked, all kinds of questions were running through their minds.

It was Christmas Eve Day and they were headed to the North Pole to visit Santa.

How fast can Rudolph fly?

How big is Santa’s belly?

What is Santa’s favourite cookie?

How does Santa fit all the toys in the sleigh?

They finally arrived and rang the big red doorbell. Santa opened the door and greeted them with a great big,“Ho! Ho! Ho!”

“Hello Santa!” they replied. “Is everything ready for Christmas?”

“Well, last night we had a big accident and the toyshop was flooded. But... I have a plan and I could use your help. We need to take the sleigh down to Bower Place and pick up toys for all the boys and girls,” explained Santa.

“Santa! This is your lucky day!We are here to help,” said Charlie.

Santa took them down to the sleigh garage, but...

The elves were still preparing the sleigh for the big night and it wasn’t quite ready.“I’ve got a new plan, but we’ll need to move fast,” said Santa.

“What’s THAT?” asked the kids. “Ho! Ho! Ho!… why that’s The Bower Place Express. It’s the train the elves use to bring all of the supplies needed to make toys to the North Pole. All aboard… next stop, Red Deer!”

Once inside Charlie grabbed the pirate toys,

As the train approached Bower Place, Santa organized the team. They didn’t have much time, so they had to be fast.

Peggy found the princess toys,

and Larry and Clara teamed up to carry the big toys!

Santa helped them load up the train and off they went, back to the North Pole.

Once they got back, they quickly loaded up Santa’s big red bag.

As the sleigh pulled away, Santa waved and with a twinkle in his eye, they heard Santa say,“Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas and thank you for your help! See you next year!”
