ETM VISION

“Our 2025 Vision” “Moving Forward Through the Open Door” I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Revelation 3:8 “Maintaining The House of God and Everything Within”

END TIME MINISTRIES 2025 VISION BY BISHOP DR. GODFREY A. STUBBS

Expanding on the Vision of End Time Ministries International Which is the Key to Fulfilling Our Purpose! A church vision is a clear, inspiring, and compelling statement that outlines the future direction and impact of the church. It articulates the destination and direction for the church to move towards. The vision clarifies what the church should do or not do, sets the agenda, priorities, and budget for the future, and guides the leaders during their season of leadership. It is the desired change or end result. A Gift is Not a Gift Until Given.” God has placed within me a vision that is designed to give purpose and meaning to the life of our ministry.

Taking Action: Action Steps to Bringing Our Vision into Reality!

Preface

Vision is the source and hope of life. The greatest gift ever given to mankind is not the gift of sight, but the gift of vision. Sight is the function of the eyes; vision is a function of the heart. “Eyes that look are common, but eyes that see are rare.” Nothing noble or noteworthy on earth was ever done without vision. No invention, development, or great feat was ever accomplished without the inspiring power of this mysterious source called vision. Civilization was born and developed through the driving power of a visionary leader. The canvas of history is painted with evidence of the creative, tradition-defying force of vision. Social, economic, architectural, medical, scientific, and political achievement and advancement owe their conception and birthing to the power of vision.

Any civilization that is trapped in a time warp of the past, suffocated by the traditions of past experiences, and bur- ied in the grave of the glories of past successes, is doomed to die. Vision is the key to unlocking the gates of what

2

was and what is, to propelling us into the land of what could be and has not yet been. Vision sets you free from the limitations of what the eyes can see and allows you to enter the liberty of what the heart can feel. It is vision that makes the unseen visible and the unknown possible. Vision also makes suffering and disappointment bearable. Vision generates hope in the midst of despair and provides endurance in tribulation. Vision inspires the depressed and motivates the discouraged. Without vision, life would be a study in cyclic frustration within a whirlwind of despair. Vision is the foundation of courage and the fuel of persistence. It was vision that inspired the first biblical civilization established by the great hunter Nimrod. Vision produced the great Egyptian civilization over four thousand years ago and gave rise to the towering pyramids that still amaze us today. Vision inspired the Greeks to produce philosophy and art that still impact the thinking of our world. Vision moti- vated the great Roman Empire to expand its influence and colonize the known world. Vision inspired the explorers who circumvented the globe and ignited the creation and expansion of many of the nations that we know today. Vision transformed the agricultural world into the industrial age. Vision gave birth to the thousands of inventions in the last two centuries that have transformed our lives. It was the vision of flight that inspired the Wright Brothers to invent the airplane. It was the vision of light that possessed Thomas Edison to invent the light bulb. It was the vision of a desk-sized computer that motivated Stephen Jobs to invent the desktop computer. It was the vision of giving every person access to people-friendly software that inspired Bill Gates to develop and invent the Microsoft global empire. Vision is the energy of progress.

Our church today is in desperate need of a clear precise vision. The wise king of Israel, Solomon, stated in his book of Proverbs, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18 KJV).

These words have been quoted and repeated by millions of people over the years because they capture the signifi- cant role vision has in our individual, corporate, and national lives. The full essence of this statement implies that where there is no revelation of the future, people throw off self-control, personal discipline, and restraint. Simply put, vision is the source of personal and corporate discipline. There are many who have no vision for their lives and wonder how to obtain one. There are others who have a vision but are stuck in the mud of confusion not knowing what to do next. Then there are those who had a vision but have abandoned it because of discouragement, disillu- sionment, some measure of failure, or frustration. If you are in one of these categories, it’s my goal and objective to help you understand what a vision is, and also to explain to you the nature of End Time vision, define our vision, and capture or recapture our vision. I therefore encourage you to believe in our dream and to reconnect with our passion; our vision awaits your action. Our future is not ahead of you— it lies within you. See beyond your eyes and live for the unseen. Our vision determines our destiny. 3

Our Vision Statement (Where are we going)

O ur vision is to cultivate, feed, promote, develop, and empower our church members and the community. We also envision our church to grow locally, nationally, and worldwide. We are a church that is founded on biblical principles. We serve others with dedication, dignity, and respect. We will support and mold effective leadership.

Habakkuk 2:2 challenges us to write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

To facilitate our Vision Statement, we have to: 1. Encounter God 2. Express Love

3. Equip Believers (Leaders) 4. Embrace People The “vision” of End Time Ministries International is to “Change A Generation”. The following acrostic – “Change” summarizes the “Vision of End Time”. • Challenge Denominational Traditions • Help Struggling Churches • Address Social Needs • Network and Nurture Worship Environments • Generate Independent Institutions • Education, Equip and Evangelize Challenge Denominational Traditions The challenge is to be biblical rather than traditional. As we investigate the Truths of Scripture, we embrace the Gospel and recognize that God has ordained this fellowship. We believe that children of God have the “Right to Choose” to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Additionally, because the Holy Spirit offers these gifts to the believer ... without regard to gender … End Time Ministries International affirms the role of Women in Ministry. These roles include women as pastors, preachers, deacons, elders, teachers, and bishops. Our Mission Statement (Why we exist) O ur Mission is to win the lost souls at any cost and to proclaim the word of God wherever we may go. To facilitate our mission statement, we have to understand “The Great Commandment” and “The Great Commission”.

5 Matthew 28: 19-20 says, 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Motto We Practice, We Praise, & We Preach Practice means: The actual application or use of an idea, belief, or method as opposed to theories about such application or use. "The principles and practice of teaching. Praise means: The expression of approval or admiration for someone or something. When we praise God, we are essentially boasting about Him and cheering in reverent adoration of His person and works. Preach means: To deliver a sermon or religious address to an assembled group of people, typically in church. But for us we will preach wherever He sends us. Our Commitment • To practice what we preach. • To live our vision and mission. • To be accountable to our words and actions. • To live a life pleasing to God. • To encourage personal growth by developing and empowering our members • To develop teamwork in the body of Christ, (Together Everyone Achieve More) • To visit the sick and shut-in. • To bring people together, regardless of race, color, nationality, age or sex. Our Focus 1. Overcoming Poverty Together • Ministry with the poor and marginalized. • Addressing the causes of poverty. • Responding in ways that empower individuals and strengthen communities. 2. Seeking Health and Wholeness for All • Promoting initiatives that improve well-being. • Providing education, infrastructure, communication, and prevention measures. 3. Leading where God calls • Recruiting young people for ministry. • Equipping them to be effective leaders. • Strengthening lay members. 4. Making New Disciples in New Places • Innovating with what it means to be the church. • Planting new congregations and revitalizing our faith communities. • Re-evangelizing the world. The Great Commandment Matthew 22: 37-39 says, 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The Great Commission

In 2025, We Will Focus On Six Key Activities We at “End Time” desire to “Move Forward” Through The “Open Door” by following these key spiritual disciplines and activities:

1. Prayer and Fasting 2. The Word 3. Worship and Service 4. Evangelism 5. Caring for the Temple 6. Restore & Build Strong Relationship

6

1. In 2025, We Will Enhance Our Prayer Lives.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” We can do nothing without the Lord's help. Nothing can be accomplished of eternal worth and significance without the help of our heavenly Father. Through faith, we must increase our prayer life and submit to His perfect will. Everything we have set out to accomplish must be continually covered with prayer for spiritual guidance, protection and power. Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” James 5:16 says, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” We Desire to Grow in Prayer & Fasting Fasting and prayer does not change God. It changes us. It is not twisting God's arm to get Him to do our bidding but rather positioning ourselves to receive the grace He freely gives and to do His bidding. Fasting and prayer combined removes the hindrances to our peace. It ensures the sincerity of our humility, repentance, and acceptance of pardon so that we no longer feel estranged from God. Dr. J. Edwin Orr says, “Whenever God is about to do something new with His people, He always sets them to praying.” This is how we will Grow in our Personal Prayer Life: • Commit to prayer daily in our home and our church. Corporately we will read books on prayer. • We will create prayer partnership within the church. (Bishop will set it up). • We will continue to promote our noon day prayer meeting. (Bishop and the mothers) will oversee this ministry. • We will activate our training programs for Altar Workers and Intercessory. • We will distribute a personal written prayer for Bishop & Pastor Stubbs and their family. We will also establish a personal prayer for all family members. • We will continue Fasting and Prayer Initiatives throughout the year.

7

2. In 2025, We Will Go Deeper In God’s Word G rowing in the Word. We need the whole Word of God to understand any and all parts of it. One section without the others only brings confusion! God has written us a letter; it is complete, and true. When you "sacrifice" the time to dig into that Word, asking Him for understanding, and using the tools to check the translations, His Word will bring happiness and peace of mind. The Word of God is divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and relevant to all God expects us to be thoughtful people. What we think about is important. Therefore, we should meditate upon God’s word. The psalmist wrote of the blessed man: “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2). 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” All Christians have an obligation to increase in their knowledge and understanding of the Lord. To do this, we must become more acquainted with His Word. With your support and with God’s blessing in 2025 areas of our lives today from the youngest to the oldest. We Desire to Grow in the Word of God • We will develop a daily devotion campaign in our homes, {Example: reading, praying and singing. • We will read our Bible daily consistently ensuring that we will read the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation by the end of the year 2025. Bishop Stubbs will provide a Bible scripture calendar chart. • We will conform to the Word as we are taught in Bible study. • We will teach and preach the Word of God as we understand it. • We will emphasize personal Bible readings and applications to victoriously overcome Biblical illiteracy, spiritual weakness, and failure. (Bishop will provide how to study the bible information). • We will continue to develop teachers that will be equipped to effectively minister the Word of God, and we will duly express our appreciation for their gift to the Body of Christ by allowing them to preach and teach. • We will continue to offer preaching, Bible studies and ministries that are relevant and enriching to the needs of each person for successful and spiritual progress. • We will create a comprehensive Sunday School ministry that includes a variety of adult & youth learning opportunities and church-wide fellowship.

(Pastor Timothy Powell and Pastor Lauri Stamps) will oversee this ministry.

3. In 2025, We Will Go Deeper in Our Worship

W e will go deeper in our worship service. We have been given much, and much is required of us. We will worship God and nothing else. We will put God before everything else and trust Him with our lives and needs. We will serve Him and serve one another out of a heart and spirit of love. Luke 4:8 says, “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” We Desire to Go Deeper in Worship 10 Ways to Go Deeper in Worship with God 1. Worship: We honor God in worship with our lives, time, treasure/giving and talent. We also honor the Lord through singing, praising, and giving thanks. Our lives should always be edifying to God, but singing and making hymns or being creative unto the Lord Almighty blesses Him and enters us into His mighty presence and power. Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the LORD our God is holy. (Psalm 99:9) 2. Pray : Seek God’s face and sit alone with Him to really focus on Him and hear His voice. Remove distractions such as cell phones (unless you’re reading a Bible app, of course), and remove yourself from anything that may sidetrack you. Sit somewhere quiet where you can just be. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. (Matthew 6:6) 3. Kneel down and give thanks: Either say out loud what you are thankful for or write down the many blessings you want to thank God for. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! (Psalm 95:6)

9

4. Listen to a worship music playlist: Since the genre’s inception in the 1960s, thousands of contemporary worship songs have been created. While many of these songs were short-lived and primarily used within the church, a selected few have gained enduring popularity or significance. Here is a list of those noteworthy tracks. here:

• • • • •

As the Deer

Awesome God

Way Maker- by Sinach

Here I Am to Worship - notable song by Tim Hughes

How Great Is Our God - by Chris Tomlin

• I Can Only Imagine - worship song that achieved considerable mainstream exposure. • Lord, I Lift Your Name on High • Praise Is What I Do Check out any of these artists on YouTube or Spotify and just worship the King! 5. Memorize scripture: Focus and meditate on God’s Holy Word, which is truth and life. The Bible says that the Word of God is like living water that refreshes our souls. When we focus on the truth and rehearse it, we are like a spring that is gushing with life, truth and water to share with others. Like the Word says, out of your bellies will flow rivers of living water, which basically means we will be feeding others the bread of life (Christ), and the living water, which is the Word of God. When Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35) 6. Worship Him genuinely: God is looking for those who seek Him out WHOLE-heartedly in spirit and in truth. Jesus said to her, “…But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:21-24) 7. Be still and listen: Sometimes we need to hear diving instructions and orders from our commander in chief and Lord. When we obey, we are blessed, and we please the King. But Samuel replied: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22) 8. Humble yourself: We need to heed to the Lord and surrender. We need to listen to Him and commit to following His plan for our lives. The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. (Isaiah 2:11)

10

9. Draw near to God: Ask God for forgiveness of anything hindering your faith walk and resist the enemy. Repentance isn’t just saying sorry, but it is a lifestyle change and is turning AWAY from poor choices and sin that hinder us from being closest to God’s presence. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8) In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. (Hebrews 5:7) 10. Ask for a heart of worship: Let us revere, honor and respect our Lord (Isaiah 6). Galatians 2:20 says, “ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” 1 John 2:15 says, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.” With your support and with God’s blessing in 2025 • We will make it a daily practice to worship the Lord. With that being said, we will keep a worshipful attitude. • We will speak positively about the goodness of God. • We will devote our service to God and others using our God-given time and talents. • We will grow our youth ministry by expanding youth mission experiences, providing conferences, and Vacation Bible School. • We will restructure our new member ministry that will involve informal gatherings. (All) • We will establish Choirs. (Men, Women, & Senior Adult Choir). (Evangelist Meme Davis & Mother Caroline Coleman) will oversee this ministry. • We will establish back our dance ministry. (Pastor Lisa Burrell) • We will continue rehearsal time for our weekly Praise and Worship Teams. A.W. Tozer says and I quote: “Too often, we give God only the tired remnants of our time. If Jesus Christ had given us only the remnant of His time, we would all be on our way to that darkness that knows no morning. Christ gave us not the tattered leftovers of His time; He gave us all the time He had. But some of us give Him only the leftovers of our money and of our talents and never give our time fully to the Lord Jesus Christ who gave us all. Because He gave us all, we have what we have; and He calls us “as He is, so are we in this world.”

11

4. In 2025, We will Go Deeper in Evangelism

W e will Go deeper in Evangelism - We are commissioned by Jesus to reach the lost world with the gospel. Locally and globally, there are people who do not know Jesus. It is harvest time and we are committed to reach the lost souls through the power of the Holy Spirit by whatever means are available to us in these last days. "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age."(Matthew 28:18-20) With your support and with God’s blessing in 2025 • We will purchase one or two 14-seat passenger Van for our church. • We will make ourselves available more as witnesses of Jesus Christ. • We will do the work of an evangelist according to 2 Timothy 4:5 with our God-given talents and ability to reach people (others) for Jesus. • We will establish personal goals for winning souls for Jesus in 2025. • We will invite our family members and friends to visit our church or to attend services with us. • We will discover and develop how to share our testimony with others. • We will establish an Outreach and Mission Team to effectively meet the mission of reaching the world. • We will be involved in mission projects. • Our Missionaries and Evangelistic Team will visit at least 3 places or sites this year. We Desire to Go Deeper in Service God sent His son, and He desires that we receive Jesus and His incredible gift of an eternal relationship with Him. As His children, He calls us to know and love Him with our entire being. Through God’s presence and power, we are also called to love others as ourselves, and to introduce others to Him in loving, honest relationships. It has been said, Love the Lord with everything you have; and remember that you have never looked into the eyes of a person that didn’t matter to God. We desire to be a Christ-centered biblical community. That means we must grow in our knowledge of and most importantly our love and obedience to our God and Savior Jesus Christ. Our desire is not to be an organization, but to become an interdependent organism. God wants us to function as one body, rather than a conglomerate of saved-but-isolated Christians. That means that we must be Christ to one another and to genuinely care for each other, to be accountable to one another, and to support each other.

12

The Bible says that spiritual growth is not optional. It is commanded to all Christ followers. 2 Corinthians 13:11 says, “Grow to maturity.” And 2 Peter 3:18 says, “You must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” This is how we will “Go” deeper in Service. • We will Introduce Stewardship emphasis initiatives to the church. • We will Increase the % of individuals who tithe and financially support the church. Currently, 15 % of our congregation contributes to tithes. Our goal is to raise this percentage to 25 % by the end of the year. Malachi 3:6-10 says, “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. 7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

God’s Blessings Are Promised to Believers. God's Word is filled with promises from our Creator to provide and deliver. The Bible is the ultimate source for truth and God is faithful to fulfill all His promises. As we read His Word about His promises, we need to claim them over our lives! Freedom from addictions, deliverance from sin and evil, financial provision, hope for lost and hurting family and friends, overcoming depression, recovering a marriage, good health, healing, being free from fear and anxiety, strength, and many more are the blessings and gifts that God promises to provide for those who believe in Him. As bestowed treasures from heaven, God’s blessings encompass both the natural and supernatural realms, and should never be taken for granted, but should be held in grateful remembrance. The familiar words of the psalmist David recorded in Psalm 103 provide a glimpse of the many blessings he enjoyed. Referred to as “benefits,” they were a reflection of God’s unending grace and bounty. 5. Caring for the Temple (The Body)

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19 tells us our bodies are God's temple. Not only did He create our bodies, but he also dwells in them through his Holy Spirit. Based on that knowledge, we should treat our bodies with the utmost respect. We are given one body, and it is the dwelling of the Holy Spirit. It is our personal responsibility to take care of it and use it to the maximum for the glory of God. We come together as the Body of Christ to grow spiritually at the house of God. It facilitates ministry and should be used wisely and maintained properly for the glory of God. We Desire to Grow Deeper in caring for the Temple. With your support and with God’s blessing in 2025 • We will commit to eating healthier, exercising, and stopping bad habits with the Lord's help. • We will be more selective in what we watch, read, and how we invest our energy and efforts. • We will practice the principles of holiness in all manners of our lives by practicing moderation. Our focus will lie in three areas:

1. Financial 2. Spiritual 3. Physical

We will put an action plan in place to facilitate this campaign. In 2025, We Will Grow as a Church in Caring for the building

1 Timothy 3:4-5 (KJV) says, “ One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God”?

15

6. Building Strong Relationships W e will build strong relationships. We are people created by God that coexist and are interdependent. My Vision for ETMI in2025 T he Lord Almighty Reigns! When I think about how the Lord is blessing our church and the privilege, he has given us to belong to him, I must Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow! Hallelujah to the Lord Our God! Great and wonderful things are happening with our church. There is absolutely no doubt that God has been gracious to us, and that End Time is continuing to impact the lives of people throughout this world. God has given us a clear vision and our mission remains the same. Our Mission is to win the lost souls at any cost and to proclaim the word of God wherever we may go. After prayer and reflection, we will continue to build on the initiatives of 2024 in the year 2025. We will continue with a holistic approach to ministry; that is, worship, equipping, nurturing individuals and families, developing our youth and meeting the needs of our seniors. We will also continue to pursue ways to achieve a physical plan that can better accommodate our congregational growth and the ever-expanding kingdom work done by all of our ministries. However, after a prayerful evaluation of our ministry, I have concluded that we must be more intentional about spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through effective discipleship and motivating members of our congregation toward a greater commitment to our church and the Kingdom. Therefore, our theme for 2025 is Moving Forward Through the Open Door, with a focus on Maintaining The House of God and Everything Within.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we are boldly stepping into new heights and dimensions that God has prepared for us.

Closing

To be honest, there are no other areas where I feel I have been particu- larly ineffective as your pastor, so I'm not going to manufacture one just to seem humble or self-aware! By all means feel free to let me know if there are things you'd like to see me do better. I know I am diligent and com- mitted and hardworking, but of course I'm just another imperfect person with plenty of shortcomings and areas in which I hope to continue to evolve and grow. Most of those that I'm aware of however are more personal than professional. For example, I need to exercise more and have more fun in my life and probably have some kind of social life! But that's not a work thing and I have LOTS of love and friendship in my life. I'm involved in a lot of things, but I'm not a workaholic. I'm really a very happy and con- tent and fulfilled person, and for that I'm grateful to God first and fore- most, but also to wife and leaders and to our congregation. You all make it easy and joyful to be your pastor, and as I tell my colleagues, I pastor the best church people. To state that more meaningfully, I truly feel that I am blessed to serve this congregation.

Thank you, God and thanks to all of you.

It's hard to believe it's been Twenty-Three years!!

To God be the glory for the great things He has done!

Yours in Christ, Bishop Dr. Godfrey A. Stubbs.
