MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN Dear TOVP Donors and Supporters, Greetings from Sridham Mayapur and the entire TOVP Team. I am very pleased to present to you this TOVP 2025 calendar, dedicated to my dear Godbrother and friend, His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami, who left this world to rejoin our eternal master on April 5 this year. He was nicknamed as ‘Prabhupada’s Man’ because he so strictly followed every instruction of Srila Prabhupada, from the smallest to the most world-changing and influential such as opening ISKCON temples and distributing books. His Krishna conscious impact on the world is incomparable, and I am truly honored to have been

As we approach this new year and take another step closer to the Grand Opening of the TOVP in 2026, I wish to honor His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, who has been a guiding light in the progressive completion of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium. Maharaja’s unwavering commitment and dedication to Srila Prabhupada’s vision have been instrumental in bringing this project to its present stage. His steadfast service has inspired countless devotees, reminding us of the power of selfless devotion and determination. To commemorate Maharaj’s invaluable contribution, we are dedicating one of the largest pillars in the main temple hall in his

This pillar, lovingly offered by Ambarish Prabhu, stands as a testament to Maharaj’s profound impact and lifelong service to ISKCON and Srila Prabhupada’s mission. I am also pleased to announce the new Gopal Krishna Maharaja Bhakti Ratna Seva. Bhakti Ratna means ‘Jewel of Devotion,’ and HH Gopal Krishna Goswami embodied that in every way. To honor him in that role, we have released a special medallion which can be seen on the pages of the calendar that follow. Please sponsor one and help finish the TOVP. It is my humble attempt to glorify Maharaj through this calendar, so that each of us may remember and be inspired by his example of pure devotion and relentless dedication. CALENDAR 2025 Dedicated to His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami
His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja was the biggest ISKCON leader supporting the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium from its inception. He constantly spoke of the project, gave us suggestions, and invited us to his Vyasa Puja ceremonies and other programs to raise funds for the ongoing construction. He was present at all our milestone events such as the Chakra Installation, Prabhupada Is Coming celebration, Pujari Floor Opening, and Nrsimha Wing Opening. Now that he has departed this world, we feel a huge gap on our TOVP Team, as well as in ISKCON in general. Thus, we felt it appropriate to dedicate to him this small offering of the TOVP 2025 calendar, which will also remind all devotees of this remarkable devotee’s devotion, dedication and surrender to his spiritual master and our ISKCON Founder-Acharya. Maharaja accomplished many things during his lifetime of service under the direct instructions of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada such as opening of temples, distribution of Srila Prabhupada’s books, managing affairs of ISKCON India, and much more. And included in that long list was Srila Prabhupada’s instruction to him to “construct a temple at the birthplace of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu”, in a letter dated July 11, 1969, quoted on the back front cover image and reproduced here in full.
