Volume Discount We will offer a volume discount beginning at 3 bulls, 3% and increasing 1% for each additional bull for up to 10 bulls—10% maximum discount. FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE Macholan Angus guarantees our bulls to be sound, fertile and reproductive with the rules and regulations on the American Angus Association. All bulls will be covered 100% (minus salvage value) by us for 90 days from turn out. The refund will be given as credit in a future sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. Please notify us as soon as possible should any injury occur and prior to the bull being sold. All claims must be made by October 1. HERD HEALTH All animals have been Angus GS tested and parentage verified. All bulls have had a breeding soundness exam administered by Dr. Kevin Thiele of Nebraska Vet Service of West Point, NE. The cattle all have been on a complete vaccination program and dewormed for internal and external parasites in accordance with the protocols administered by Dr. Thiele of Nebraska Vet Service. The heifers have had bangs vaccination and vibrio lepto shots. A certificate will be available sale day. TRANSPORTATION Deduct $200 per bull if you take your bulls home sale day. We will offer free delivery within 300 miles of Columbus. Over 300 miles, we will assist you in shipping your purchase. We ask that heifers be picked up within a few days of the sale (no discount for them). We will begin delivery as soon as possible after the sale. We will winter the bulls free of charge until May 1. After May 1, there will be a charge of $3.00 per day for feed. LIVESTOCK MORTALITY INSURANCE Bulls and heifers are property of the buyer as soon as sold, with the buyer taking complete risk. Cattle that remain after the sale are at the buyer’s risk. We encourage you to purchase insurance on purchased animals at the conclusion of the sale. RETAINED INTEREST We are selling 100% semen interest and possession in all bulls unless announced from the block or supplement sheet prior to the sale. Macholan Angus would like to retain 100 straws the first year and 50 units every year if we decide to use the bull. Everything we announce on sale day from the block or supplement sheet will override the above.
