Ewan Forsythe, highly commended at SkillELECTRIC 2025.

Ewan Forsythe, an apprentice studying at Belfast Met and employed by NUGENT, has received a highly commended mention following an excellent performance at SkillELECTRIC 2025. Ewan progressed to the national finals, held at Bridgend College in Wales in late 2025, after achieving the top score in Electrical Installation at the SkillBuild NI Regional Qualifier held in South Eastern Regional College in May. He was also recently named as a runner up in the UK-wide ECA Edmundson Apprentice of the Year awards for 2025 and secured Apprentice of the Year at the Northern Ireland Electrical Awards at Titanic Belfast in June. SkillELECTRIC is organised by National Electrotechnical Training in conjunction with WorldSkills UK with Electric Center, NICEIC and Scolmore Group as its delivery partners.
