A new Direct Easy system has been launched by LEDVANCE, featuring energy-saving features such as support for daylight harvesting with lights automatically dimmed when there is enough natural light. With presence detection, lights switch off or dim in unoccupied spaces. The system is wireless (Zigbee 3.0) with Bluetooth setup, eliminating heavy wiring while reducing losses and installation energy. Direct Easy enables zone-based control; up to 40 luminaires per zone can be grouped, allowing only those in use to be lit. The system offers dimming, tuneable white and RGB control, so light levels and colour temperatures can be adjusted to suit the task, avoiding waste. Suitable Zigbee 3.0 Luminaires themselves are high efficacy, with
high luminous flux per watt and low flicker to reduce wasted light.
