ENHANCED CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE… Ballymount branch refurbishment

With a refurbished trade counter, expanded stock range and new branch manager in place, National Electrical Wholesalers (NEW) Ballymount is ready for its next evolution. Modernising the branch’s trade counter, the upgrade has also facilitated an enhanced customer experience and expansion of its stock range. NEW Ballymount opened 36 years ago at the Sunbury Industrial Estate in Walkinstown, where it is still located, and the branch team has also remained consistent over the years. The branch was opened by Jimmy McKeown, Tony Carruthers and Larry Malone. Jimmy only recently

retired as branch manager and Tony is currently assistant manager, while Larry subsequently moved on to a regional manager role within the electrical wholesale group. Pearse Campbell joined the business in September, working alongside Jimmy for a few months until his retirement in December 2025. In a fitting tribute to Jimmy’s key role in the success of the branch, the two managers co-hosted a Trade Day, officially launching NEW Ballymount’s refurbished trade counter, on November 20. Customers were offered the opportunity to catch up with the branch team, meet key suppliers and view the latest developments across
